Backwards TV Guide:

Just seen that Freely are to update their service with a  backward compatible EPG  in a few weeks, this is something that virgin has always offered and continues to in their stream service. I wondered why sky have never offered this, would be easy to implement on stream. Would you find it useful ?

Not sure how much it's needed however it wouldn't be a bad thing to do. Some people would like it I suspect.

Freely's backwards compatible EPG has been available for a while on their website.

It's quite useful for browsing & will trigger the appropriate live channel stream on the web or on demand app if you have them installed on the device you're browsing on...

It's something Sky could clearly offer but I think the EPG as it is can often be quite slow at populating. Adding the previous 7 days would only slow it down more.

Re: Backwards TV Guide:

I've just moved to Sky Stream, having previously had Virgin 360, and Youview before that. I immediately found myself wanting to scroll back through the TV guide, to add my favourite programmes. Instead, I had to manually search for them, or skip to the following day.

Considering the Sky Stream is primarily used for catch-up and on demand content, I would expect to be able to go back a few hours, and start a catch-up stream from there.

A fantastic idea. It's actually a handy feature.
