Audio skipping after ~30 mins

Using the puck in Auto sound output (passthrough is really inconsistent for lip sync - have moaned about this multiple times already Dolby Digital or DD+ lacks Atmos, which may I remind Sky I pay extra for, Stereo PCM is garbage). Auto is supposed to yield best results.

After approx 30 mins the audio will start to skip and will not stop until I switch the sound mode or turn puck on/off. This is unacceptable. Yet another issue with these garbage pucks.

TV and soundbar are top of the line Sony. No other inputs such as blu ray or playstation have this issue. It's the puck.
