Watching golf on Sky Sports (via NOW TV in the UK) - every time following adverts the audio is about 3 seconds behind the picture. Why? Can work around by swapping over to another Sports channel (eg Cricket) and then rejoining Golf but SO annoying. Doesn't happen on Cricket coverage. Help please.

Re: Audio delay after adverts
@RayF1 Hi Ray, are you using a soundbar or similar?

Re: Audio delay after adverts
Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the input. Yes, I have a Denon soundbar - I replaced the HDMI cable going to it from the TV (Sony Bravia) a while back as I was getting some sound glitches which the new, better quality cable sorted out. Just strange that I've only noticed the delay happening on the Golf channel.

Re: Audio delay after adverts
I fitted a Sonos Beam shortly after getting Stream and have always had a few seconds sound delay on every channel. I have wondered about asking on here but in the end it doesn't really bother me. I thought your work around would take longer than the few seconds delay!!! Maybe I misunderstood. I am sure it must be connected with the soundbar and maybe someone else on here can give up both advise?

Re: Audio delay after adverts
I have just gone into my TV Settings and noticed under AV Sync Adjustment it was on 10. I adjusted it to 0 and it seems to have solved the problem. A bit early to be sure but worth a try!

Re: Audio delay after adverts
I'm glad you got yours sorted. Had a look at my settings and unfortunately the sync was already set to zero. Tried setting it at 10 , save, then re-set to zero and save but no difference. Yes, it takes a good while longer than a few seconds to change channel and back again but at least I'm keeping up with both the golf and the test match! 🙂 Guess I might just have to get used to the delay - It's truly a first world problem; not like I'm starving and being bombed.
Thanks for your input.

Re: Audio delay after adverts
As @Jporch316 suggests. Mine is set at PCM stereo anyway so @RayF1 check yours.

Re: Audio delay after adverts
Brilliant! That seems to have done the trick. Audio output was set to 'Auto' but changed to PCM Stereo as suggested and now remains synced after the adverts.
Many thanks.
