Are Sky stream connections same as Sky Q?

Looking to switch from Sky Q to Stream. One of my  tv's is wall mounted with Sky Q mini box connected to the tv through a false wall so really don't want to have to disconnect it and take the tv down if I can just order Sky stream and connect it using the same cables. Does anyone know if the cables and connection ports are the same? All other tv's in the house are ok to change over. Thanks for any answers in advance.

Sky Q miniboxes are only capable of HD and if the HDMI cable you are using with it is quite old then it might not be of sufficient spec to support UHD (which is one of the key selling points of Sky Stream.)

If the TV in question isn't 4K then it'll be fine - just set the output of the Stream puck to 1080i and it'll work fine in HD-only.

A Stream puck only needs the HDMI cable and a power cable. Ethernet is optional, depending on how good your WiFi signal is.

Thanks BenJoBanjo for that info. The tv is UHD 4K and I'm currently using the  cable that came with the sky Q mini box which is not that old but if I can just unplug the cable from the mini box and plug it into the Sky Stream puck it would solve the problem for me. wifi is very fast so no issue there thanks.
