If Disney+ hold the streaming rights to Air Crash Investigation then yes, you'll need to subscribe to that service in order to watch past episodes.

Re: Air crash investigation
Hi @josh+prior I have Air Crash Investigation in my playlist and it works as expected taking me to National Geographic. I am also subscribed to Disney + so out of interest I have done a search there and Air Crash Investigation was not even listed.
It seems a bit strange but the only thing I can think of is your system has developed a software glitch of some sort so try deleting it from your playlist and the doing a restart of the the puck by going to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device.
Once the restart has completed (it takes a couple of minutes) then add Air Crash Investigation back to your playlist. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.
Good luck
