Aerial for sky

Do I need an aerial to be able to get sky tv please, even just essential tv?

@Anonymousee  You've posted on the Sky Stream board whic is a service delivered over your broadband and does not need an aerial.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

No: the aerial socket in a Stream puck is to permit the hardware to be used in other Sky territories (such as Italy) where the presence of a digital terrestrial television tuner is required by national media regulations.
