Adverts on Paramount+

I can't see myself watching anything on Paramount+.  I pay for ad skipping and do not expect to be forced to watch adverts (I feel like a have been time warped back to the 70's before video recorders).

Paramount plus has two subscription tiers. Most likely you are on the basic tier (which you get free with sky cinema. You need to upgrade to the next tier to view content in UHD and without ads (same as Disney , prime and Netflix)

the ad skipping you pay for is sky content and some uk streaming such as itvx 5 and channel 4 etc

You get Paramount+ standard with your Sky Cinema subscription, this comes with Advertising that you can't skip.

Paramount+ isn't own by Sky in the same way Netflix isn't. You also get Netflix standard with ads as part of your subscription.

You can upgrade both at an additional fee if you want to remove the adverts.
