Hi all,
My partner, who owns a Sky Glass Tv, has recently moved in with me. I have Sky Q at present. For various reasons which I will not go into, we need to migrate to Sky Stream. I called Sky and have spoken to 7 different people about whether it would be possible to add my partners Sky Glass tv to a new Sky stream account...I've had 7 different answers and mostly the answer is 'no, they are different things'.
I was hoping to get a new stareming account with Whole Home, 2-3 pucks and add my partners Sky glass as well. On the Sky webiste it says you have have a number of pucks and 3 sky glass tv's on the same account. Surely the sky glass tv is just like a normal tv with a puck technology built in? I understand it is possible to add a sky glas tv to a streaming account by registering it online in 'my sky'.
Am I just being dim and missing something here. Nobody at Sky seems to be able to give me a straight answer!
Any help really appreciated!

You're not being dim, it's Sky who are being dim. You can absolutely add a Glass TV to an existing Stream account.
You probably need to set up your Sky Stream account first and get Q cancelled, then add the Glass TV to your streaming account for it all to work smoothly.
If I were you I would just ring Sky and say you want to switch from Q to Stream, order your 2 or 3 pucks with Whole Home, set them up when they arrive and then, once they're all operational, follow the instructions on here to add the Glass TV to your account:
