Account start

My sky stream has arrived without prior notification from DPD. I wanted to delay delivery and the start of my billing period, which I was told I could do by the sales team when I purchased the package

@John6D what the agent was correct with a caveat You only have 14 days from delivery to activate the device and subscription yourself, if you don't do it within this time period sky will activate it automatically and start charging from the date of activation , you cannot delay it any longer beyond this unless you cancel and return then re order when you ready to activate as soon as it arrives

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

This makes sense. Basically I was told I'd get a text from DPD and there would be a link at the bottom to delay the delivery up to two weeks therefore pushing back the start of my contract...
