Stolen money

Why wasn't I informed when "purchasing" a movie on sky store digitally that I would not be owning the movie just renting, which under UK consumer law is misleading and incorrect information which in turn I am due a full refund for any and all purchases made on store.

Now can someone please contact me to tell me how you are going to sort this matter and also you may want to inform your Indian call centres that by being a customer in the UK we are covered by UK law as the "person" I spoke to laughed at me and said we have a big legal team u don't know what your talking about

The Sky Store is spilt into two sections - Rental and Buy and Keep so if you used the former you have just rented it even if you film was a premier rental for £15.99 you only get a limited time to watch the film before it is removed. For Buy and Keep the film is yours to keep and the name suggests.

So what film did you order and was it a rented or buy and keep one ?

You can still have access to your purchases should you leave Sky but you would be unable to view them via a Sky box but you can via online means like the Sky Store app on a phone or tablet. To make sure this happens when you leave you would need to contact Sky Store support and ask them to change your account to a Sky Store Only one.
