I have Roku/Now tv sticks on tvs throughout my house to allow everyone to watch my Sky Store purchases, however I have more tvs than the device limit allows, how can I increase this? I don't think it is practical to unplug devices and move them about to watch in a different room. I get wanting to make sure it is my family watching but I need a higher limit. Surely you can increase device limit in conjunction with same ip address? Amazon Prime, Netflix and other services don't have a device limit, why does sky store?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe device limit is set in stone and ca't be changed or increased as you can have 4 registered devices and you can make one change per month.
Why it is just 4 I wouldn't know other than to say that this is what Sky have decided that it will be.

Sky haven't implemented simultaneous stream limits so depend on device name limits.
It is just down to the age of the software design!

I'd rather have simultaneous streaming limits, I have the potential to watch on 6 devices in my house and the issue I have is that I can only use Sky Store on 4. So I either do without or have to try unplug and move devices to view content I have bought. Surely there is a way to increase device limits? Why would there be a limit? Can't you increase the limits if using same ip address?
