Sky Store App Play/Pause Not Going Away

I use the Sky Store app on my tablet to watch my library of films and tv, the last time I used it, it was great. However, this time the play/pause overlay seems to be stuck on the screen and I can't make it go away. I've been in settings, tapped the screen in multiple areas, gone out and back in etc. It happens on every film and on different devices. I have tried uninstalling, clearing cache, restarting and reinstalling. Nothing is working. I cannot find anything online about it. My tablet is a Galaxy S8 Ultra and my phone is an S25 Ultra and it happens on both. I have a large library on Sky Store so I'm rather upset I'm not able to access them.

Have you checked for any updates to the app. If there isn't then all you can do is to report this to the apps team via this email address - apps@sky.uk

Same for me on my tablet. 

I've done all the usual stuff that support tells you to do. Uninstall/reinstall, clearing cache, download and stream a movie. Same issue persists.

So, I do what I normally do with Sky Store app issues and have emailed the support team. They usually produce an update within a few days, maybe a week. 

It's a pretty rubbish app in all honesty. As issues happen a few times a year.

I've just had an update today, unfortunately it hasn't fixed it. It's a shame because I'd really like to buy more films. Maybe next update.
