Redeeming Sky Store Voucher Technical Issue

I received a voucher code a few days ago however, every time I try to redeem the voucher and I paste the code, I get a message advising that there is currently a technical issue and to try again later.

 

I've checked via ChatGPT and there does not appear to be any current technical issues being reported with the site.

 

has anyone else had this problem and if so, any advice on resolving this? I don't want to have ti wait until Monday to contact live chat.

There have been a few similar reports @EvaR1 



Some people have had a message to

say to make sure their  payment card is up to date. 

I appreciate you won't be making a payment for this particular transaction but it might just be the need for a valid payment card on the Skystore system 

Other than that it might well be you have to wait till Monday 11am for a livechat

@my payment card is all up to date as I set up my account this evening and completed a £1 card transaction as part of the set up.

 

such a pain, wanted to watch 28 years later so badly!!! Guess I'll just have to pay for it!

 

I wonder if I buy it tonight, whether they would reimburse me the amount given the issue with the voucher redemption 🤔🤔

My experience @EvaR1 is these things often  depend on the way in which you complain (in a friendly but firm way) and the person you get on the chat. 

For Skystore issues over the last few days I've read one customer being offered a free credit and another being refused. 

Definitely worth a try though and I hope you are successful- best of luck.
