Free Sky VIP movie charged to my account

Hi there, 

I saw Casper advertised as a free VIP movie, clicked and downloaded, and then Sky have charged me for a purchase.

Can anybody help?

When you 'purchase' such items you have to make sure you check the process.  If you selected the item and it didn't show as £0.00 then you will be charged and it's up to Sky whether they will credit that amount.

You'll have to call Sky as we're other customers here and cannot refund/credit...

It should have displayed as £0.00, so I would get in touch with Sky Store support regarding this, they have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm each day and can be found here:

Hi, i get the free gift baloney on my tv as well then when you go into it they want 7.99 for it. Cant be bothered to spend an hour on the phone to be told some spill they are reading from the computer. But this looks like a typical Sky c*ck up to me.

You don't need to phone as per the post above yours there is a live chat that you can use.

The VIP offer worked fine for me @wakonda 

There are a few offers around - If it's the one where Sky send you a code you have to use the code online for a buy and keep VIP movie  then send it to your box from the app. 

Casper is a bit different- but you should see that here also - you can also send Casper to your Sky box.
