Buy and Keep

Unreal, I have been with Sky for 4 years. 

I have bought around 50 films from Sky Stores "buy and keep".

I had to relocate for work and had to cancel Sky. 

 

They have now taken away all the films I have bought and say I have to buy them again as I am not a customer. But I can go back to the same site and buy the same films and keep them.!!!! How is this not daylight robbery?!!  

 

I can log into to Sky Store and Sky Go and my online sky account but they say i don't have an active number so they cannot add these films back on?! They're a tech company surely this would be an easy fix? 

 

Has anyone else had this problem?

 

I am truly thinking of taking legal action here for misleading me in "buying and keeping" as the title suggests. As you cannot keep them.

I'm not sure if it is possible now you have cancelled but did you ask them about changing your account to a Sky Store only one as this would allow you to access your purchases on devices like tablets, computers etc

They said i could when i cancelled it, but now they're saying I am not allowed to view them, I have to buy them again. ON SKY STORE

The usual process as @caesarome mentions is for you to ask Sky -( on closure of your TV account ) to convert your account to Skystore only 

 

Then you can log in to your Skystore account and view your movies on a tablet / LG TV etc

in my opinion - the key question is - 


Did they say they were changing your account to Skystore only (at the time of closure) ?

 

If so then in your position I would be complaining again to Sky.
