satellite issue

I was fine untill earlier today,as my new stupid neighbour is knocking next door apart,he must have done something as now I have a message saying no satellite signal on either main or mini box, tried all the usual methods, reboot etc and nothing! trying to find a number to call is like getting blood from a stone, diagnostic pages says there is a issue and is asking me to book a engineer but it's for a weeks time!! I don;t suppose there is anything else I  can do??

You can choose to pay a local independent satellite dish installer to check the cabling and adjust the dish alignment.

hi @Southwalker

even if you call you are unlikely to get an engineer any sooner  unless you have SKY protect insurance

Re: satellite issue

I ended up calling a local ariel/freeview installer, who came this morning, turns out the idiots next door did knock it out of align, cost me 45 quid but at least I'm sorted, I'm going to get  a local place to relocate the dish as it's in a stupid place and it will happen again!
