Yes the SKY mini boxes will connect directly to any TV with an HDMI connector.
They will also connect to virtually any other older TVs that have an external Video/Audio input (e.g Scart) although in these cases they would need a separate AV cable & possible adapter (neither supplied by SKY) - I have connected mine as a test to a 1980s 6" monitor/TV with RCA (aka Phono) connectors as inputs
