basically, what I am trying to do, is keep an entire series from being deleted
I can manually keep each episode, but when you have a long series being recorded often, it's tiresome to just go to the end of the list and manually keep each one.
is there a way where you can keep the entire series?. I've been searching it, and saw something about being able to set it up via the programme skedule screen, but I can't seem to find the place to do that
it would really help me if someone could tell me how to do this
thanks

It's important to understand that 'Keep' is not meant to be a long-term archive function: it's just a flag to tell the system to over-write that disk area last when overall space gets short.
The hard drive of a Sky box isn't intended to be a data repository: it's there to facilitate time-shifted viewing of broadcast content and downloading on-demand from servers. The only reasonably certain way to retain a series (where available) is to buy it on optical disk or purchase it from a service which has online storage.

from the help page on sky:
If you want to set a Keep on all recordings for a new series you can do this from the Schedule of that programme, so all new recordings will have a keep.
this is what I am trying to do

Hi @oracle2018
When you have a series linked for Recording the next Episode will show in the Recordings - Scheduled section.
Go to this section and highlight the program that you wish to keep.
On the right hand side you will see the series link options including Keep.
Select Keep and future recordings will be carried out with the keep option applied.
