Have you tried restarting both your main Sky Q box and the Mini box in your bedroom? Switch both at the plug. Wait 30 seconds or so before restarting the main box. Once that has fully restarted, restart your Mini box.

@Potherbs

Sky have suggested the following...

  • Unpair their Sky Q remote from the box by holding 4&6
  • Wait for the remote to flash
  • Then dismiss the information screen "Skip & set up later"
  • Hold 1&3 to repair the remote control

If 4&6 does not allow you to clear the information screen, try holding 7&9 to reset the Sky Q remote then hold 1&3 and follow the on-screen setup journey to allow the remote to control the TV.

Re: frozen SKY Q accessibility with 2nd set

thank you for anwering, but I have tried everything and nothing works. I think it must be because EE changed me to Fibre optic which is rubbish, I have had the engineer in 4 times and I still cannot get a consistent connection.
