Xbox 360 affects Sky mesh

Hi helpful people.

My lad has just bought a 2nd hand Xbox 360 and everytime he powers it on, it makes the sky mesh wifi to the miniboxes drop out.

Any ideas what I need to change or amend to resolve this?

Thanks

Steve

Make sure whatever wifi network the 360 is connecting to doesn't overlap with the channels the Q mesh is using (which is 36-48)

Thankyou

Can I specify a channel for the xbox 360 to use within my router or Xbox settings?

No you have to set it on the router's wifi config and every device will use it

you can see how the channels relate to frequencies and how an 80MHz wide sky mesh takes up all of the channels between 36&48 on this map

it is possible to tell the Q to only use 40MHz in which case it probably uses 36-40. But that might affect performance with the minis.
