With heavy heart!
I have sadly have had to cancel my whole Sky package of TV, broadband and phone after so long 10years. My bill went up to £103 cos out of contract it's way too much now am retired. Asked if they could give me a decent deal to stay with them only offer they could give me would see an increase of £8.49 I was gobsmacked 😶
Where is the loyalty for the customers who have been with Sky for a great number of years, don't understand why the offers given to new customers cannot be given to existing customers don't make sense?
I am not in favour of the new Sky Stream as it is totally reliant on having decent broadband if it's down the TV will be down, nah not for me!
So, sadly have 31days to look around for alternatives viewing and broadband, are there others here having to cancel their subscription due to similar reasons? ☹️

Probably important to note that all the other sources of subscription television (Virgin, BT/EE and Now TV) are completely reliant on broadband for delivery of those channels.
Broadcast Freesat and Freeview carry free-to-air service only.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Be aware that if you've actually cancelled the broadband and phone you could be without both until a new supplier hooks you up, you would certainly lose your house phone number.

Re: With heavy heart!
We'd been with Sky for over 21 years & cancelled a month or so ago due to the April rise. No calls from Sky other than one which asked for account password so assumed it was a scam. Went with freeview & Now TV app which offers all the Sky channels we watched (about 4) - £30 a month better off at least.
I don’t work for Sky.
If I have helped then please leave a like.
