Wired extension

I have Sky+ in my lounge, but have connected to my bedroom via extension cables. Will it be possible to repeat with a SkyQ box? Thank you.

@tarren

Sky Q does not have the output connection required to retransmit over coaxial cable in a 'magic eye' distribution, if that's what you are referring to.

Re: Wired extension

It looks like I won't be transferring over to a SkyQ any time soon, then. Thank you for your reply, appreciated.

Q only outputs via HDMI - extending this is possible but not straightforward.

Sky will lend you a minibox but requires a multiscreen subscription to run it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Re: Wired extension

Thank you Godfrey, I'll have to have a word with my local tv man, see if he's up to it.
