Why do I have to reboot my sky Q box every day, I've updated software and once it's rebooted it works perfectly

Hi @big+cuddles You do know that you are not talking to Sky here. This is a public community forum, not Sky customer services. As a fellow customer I suggest you have a look at your Standby settings. This all depends on what time of the day this is happening. Updating the software is the same as switching off and on, it doesn't update the software if it is already up to date.

@big+cuddles what happens to your box if you don't reboot it
