Why no Network connection

I cannot get my apps on screen. Tried all the settings etc but being a senior citizen in her seventies, I do not want to start changing any setting because I don't understand them.  I constantly get this msg No network connection.  I turned off and on again !!!!  But to no avail

PLEASE HELP I am paying for something that I am not getting

Hi @Al-robot In the following order:-

Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on?.

The router AND then the Q box?

 

By the way, the inventors of TCP/IP, the underlying protocol of most internet comms,  Robert Kahn and Vinc Cerf are 86 and 82 years old respectively, so age is no impediment 😁
