The upgrade is still happening but has just been delayed slightly based on a post from Sky last week.
Customers who have contacted Sky customer service have been given a lot of false information, such as being told they need a new contract or to pay more, which is incorrect. They don't seem to be aware of this upgrade and just make up stuff to get you off the line.
