What is the correct Q box software number?

I am trying to update my Sky Q box software and the download seemingly won't work.  The Sky Q box software help page quotes the correct software number as Q270.000.08.00L.  My box shows the number Q270.000.10.02L, which, intuitively, looks like a later version to me.  Which is the latest version, please?  Is the Sky help page wrong?

Q 270.000.10.02L is the latest.

Many thanks for the reply - so I have just wasted a lot of time repeatedly following the Sky help page to update software which was already up-to-date, because the help page was wrong!  Seems about par for the course for Sky - they have messed up absolutely every element of our house move, starting when they mysteriously cancelled our TV package (removed mini-boxes and all apps.) two weeks before our move, when all we asked was to change address (on a specific date) with exactly the same package and equipment!  Staggering.

Well yes but also that is very obviously a lower version number (08 vs 10) so the possibility the web page is out of date seems pretty apparent.

 

The fact it will let you try to update and go through all the motions when you're already on the latest version is very, I'd say almost uniquely in the software world, poor design.

 

but generally with Sky boxes, they're designed to look after themselves and auto-update so most people never even look at that.

I was prompted to go through the software update motions when I went to their AI assistant.  Yes, I thought it was likely that the version shown was wrong (but tried it anyway out of desperation), but for anyone not as tech-savvy as I, and I am far from an expert, they shouldn't be expected to recognise that.  BTW, when the 'update' process had finished, it didn't say I had already been up-to-date, but just that the update had been applied (which it hadn't!). 

 

Help pages need to be accurate or they are worse than useless.

 

It's an on-going saga of frustration and utter failure by Sky to correct their errors.  Something that should have been so simple (a change of address only) has become ludicrously complicated and time-wasting.  I find it incomprehensible that such a huge, supposedly tech-based organisation can get this so wrong,.

The software version on my Sky Q 1tb UHD box is Q270.000.10.09L, whereas the following is shown on the Sky web site: Sky Q Software version for all Sky Q box types: Q270.000.10.09PL ......which has an extra "P".

 

I've gone through the software update process a couple of times but no change.
