Watching Recordings
I've currently got a scaffold up, and it's been up for two weeks. I've had no sky satellite signal which was fine, because I was still able to watch recordings. This changed yesterday, now I can't watch recordings, or access any Apps, prime, Netflix, Iplayer etc. I get the message to use this service you need a satellite signal.
My mini box as als lost connection and my sky go app won't reconnect to my Sky q box.
I've tried reactivating and nothing happens.
I have turned the box off at the mains and reset it, but still no Joy.
is this common, and should I still be able to access my recordings

Hi @DarrenB08
Yes, unfortunately, this is normal.
The SKY Q boxes need a periodic 'keep alive' authorisation signal that is only sent via Satellite
Thus boxes will work until the next one is due but if it doesn't get a signal it then won't work for any functions until the Signal is restored and a new authorisation signal received

Re: Watching Recordings
The box will eventually fail to work if the no satellite signal issue due to the scaffolding is not rectified.
