Vokume keeps dropping out every 5 seconds

Volume keeps dropping in and out every 5 seconds .

i have read on other forums that other people have experienced the same problem but Sky state that there is no problem other than its peoples TV  ( Samsung ) and not thier equipment . 
Having just been told that i am the  only person to have experienced this issue i am frankly finding hard to believe .

What channel(s)? There has been a problem ongoing for over a year now with Discovery HD. Sky/Discovery either won't or can't fix it - last I heard on here was that despite numerous people posting dates/times they couldn't reproduce the fault.

 

The only known workaround is to disable Dolby Digital audio output. It's not a complete fix but it does reduces the frequency and duration of the dropouts to a tolerable level.

Hi 

 

thanks for the  response , its on all channels and yes i did try disabling the Dolby but it has not cured it .

I also tried the reset which someone else had suggested on another thread .
