Viewing card

Cannot view recordings. Message on screen 'Please insert viewing card chip upwards' have done this to no avail. Have followed instructions on 'Settings'  etc but viewing card number does not show. Have rebooted my router and switched Television off for a couple of minutes then followed screen instructions- still same message when I select recordings ie Please insert viewing card........etc. Have also carefully dusted viewing card with soft cloth. Am at a loss, can anybody suggest anything else?

Which box are you using Sky+HD or Sky Q?
