I have SKY Q + one mini box and Sky router (SKY is ISP). All inter-connected via Ethernet cables (WiFi left on for use by mobiles and other devices).
I've just swapped to Giganet Fibre, and I know some other posts describe various problems if the ISP is not Sky, but my experience is that almost every thing reconnected fine with virtually no changes.
Giganet supply the EERO Pro 6E router which is controlled via an app on your mobile phone.
After swapping the router and setting the WiFi name identically to the old Sky one, and using the same WiFi password most things just reconnected fine (some had to be rebooted to recognise the change).
The only thing I had to do on the Sky Q box was go into Settings: Network:
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side.
Wait for the Sky Q box to check the network, then select Confirm to reset the network.
Once its complete choose "Connect wired to non Sky Router. "
Also to turn the WiFi hotspots back on:
Select Advanced Settings, and then WiFi hotspots and select Turn on.
Everything works fine and has remained stable for several days now.
