Update software issue

Had a brand new box on Friday fitted by engineer.  It worked fine Friday evening & Saturday morning.

Saturday evening box won't turn on with remote or standby button on box.

Have tried several times now to do the software update.

The screen says Updating software 1 of 2.

It stays like that for avout 10 minutes then the screen goes blank/black.

Ive tried turning it off at the mains and back on again but nothing happens apart from a blue flashing Q and a red light.

Ive pressed the standby button again as instructed (if it gets stuck on update 1 of 2) and it jist goes though the same cycle again.

I can hear the HD whiring away but diddle squat is happening.

HELP PLEASE (I'm now 8 weeks without sky tv)
