Sky q tv connecting to unknown router

Hi @JohnLey It is a virtual SSID generated by the box, especially if it starts with Skyxxxx. You can safely ignore what it displays. As an example mine used to show a BT router name that I got rid of years ago. If it works, then everything is fine.

In my sky q settings the network name is different to the one on my router.
My phone is showing the correct name.
I have tried resetting it but it continues to find the other network

It should also be noted all wifi signals are password protected, a Sky Q box or any other device for that matter cannot just link itself to a different wifi network without a password.
As mentioned the other SSID will likely be generated from the Sky Q box itself, if your Sky Q box is working correctly then there is no point calling Sky as there are no issues with it.
