Unhappy customer

Hello

I am wondering if you can help me I am being told to return my sky equipment which I no longer have as I have recently moved homes I spoke to the sky engineer when he visited my home to install the new sky equipment and I asked what shall I do with my old equipment and he said dispose of it so why am I receiving messages and being told I am going to be charged £53 if I don't return items back I have been a loyal customer with sky for over 10+ years I am very disappointed with your service and I am going to go else where if I get charged with this as this is no fault of my own when I'm being told by your staff to dispose of and now I'm getting threating messages I think this is absolutely disgusting also can someone please explain why I am getting charged £33 from sky.?
thank you.

Because they are the contractual terms.  The engineer didn't give good advice...

P.s. you are not contacting Sky here - just other customers

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@CC61

What new equipment was the engineer installing and what equipment are Sky saying you haven't returned?

Sky should have sent you a checklist of any loaned equipment they are expecting back. Also. Sky should send out returns packaging (to the address where the account was active) for its return.

What have you now done with the old equipment?

Re: Unhappy customer

If your old equipment was the old Sky HD box no you don't have to return it it yours but if was a Sky Q box yes you do have to return it as it only on loan for the duration of your subscription. if   It was a Sky box I am surprised that the engineer gave you equipment because it should show on his install details that you are a existing  Sky Q customer and asked you for your old box
