Thanks for the tip.
It doesn't seemed to have worked for me - trying 2 cards ( I didn't previously have a card on file). I'll leave it a few hours and see if it updates and works.

Hi all,
I had the same error and it's a problem with my account, I'd upgraded to Sky Glass and went back to Sky Q so the configuration was messed up.
Maybe worth another call to customer services.

Sky support really useless. Had 2 agents advise I contact Paramount+ to get Premium, which would obviously result in paying full price and needing a new emial address to sign up. Really poor service.
Had to elevate to a complaint and lets see what comes of that.

If anyone searches this error, I was able to find the issue myself.
In my account Sky Q had been removed from my devices, as I had once started a cancellation but then accepted a better offer before it completed. It was showing no TV box associated with my account. Once this was added back on it immediately worked on the Sky Q box and I was able to upgrade.
