I have been a Sky customer for well over 25 years and now want to upgrade Sky Q but it's like pulling teeth. The website won't let me upgrade and I do t want Glass or Stream

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you had the letter all Sky+ customers should have received there was a dedicated phone number on there which you can call.

hi @Narly101
As @Daniel0210 says you will need to call & If you have been sent a letter/email offering an upgrade it should have a number to call.
Alternatively :
If you have the MY SKY app I think you may be able to find a number there - especially if you are a SKY VIP member
If not go this page & scroll to the bottom and expand the link need more help & scroll down
https://www.sky.com/help/home
If you have SKY Mobile or SKY Talk land line then I think you can also call 150
BTW You may wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Sadly the Sky Help is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. The bot chat is just as useful.

I'm with you, 24 years here same situation, have been on an online chat now for over two hours, first operator was suposed to get back to me after going higher up the chain, them dumped me after and houe and half, The new operator appears and then starts ask all the stupid basic questons again, even though there is a long stram of conversation, they just can't make any decisions, I'm actualy still on it but loosing the will to contine, maybe time to jst leave sky now, they certainly don't want to keep long standing customers it seems from the incompeence I have experienced thus far today!

Getting past the outsourced other country call centre on the phone isnt easy as previously found out and once again no one seems to have authority to act on anything other than the script in front of them, repwated again and again. not answering the actual questions given.
