Unable to turn off Sharp TV

I have a Sharp TV

Just got the Sky puck

Brand listed: SHARP

Model not listed: 4T-C70FL2KL2AB

Tried: 4T-C70FL2KL2AB

Tried: C70FL2KL2AB

As soon as I enter F it doesn't find any matches.

TV isn't old.

The remote works for volume

If I long press off it open my TV menu as a pop up, asking if I want to turn the TV off, but the Sky buttons will scroll in the background but not move on the TV power off menu that pops up.

I don't want to need 2 remotes, anyone with the same model manage to get nd a compatible model to enter so it will work?

Are you holding the button for too long? Some Sonys did something similar.

Re: Unable to turn off Sharp TV

Thank you this seems to sorta have worked. Though very hit and miss if I get the combo right by microseconds. Thank you, not 100% practical but its mostly functional now. Wouldn't have figured it iut without you, me and my partner were going around in circles, trying the different remote options, combinations etc etc. Read your reply, tried it and got it right tuning both off the 2nd and 4th time of roughly 8 attempts. Now I just need to practice, sometimes it turns both off, sometimes just the box then try again for the TV, or loops turning sky on and off 😂 I'll get there eventually, so much closer than I was.

Hopefully your reply helps others like me.

@SKLC are you sure that the model number you've posted is correct?

Re: Unable to turn off Sharp TV

Yup I used the warranty papers first, then took a photo at the back of the TV to be sure.

It starts showing models initially then no matches found.
