Any clues to any error messages etc?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

No error messages. it just says unable to record this program. It doesn't matter what  program you try.

@Andy482 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

and 

then rebooting the mini box if thats doing the same

I have rest the hard drive and it is working now. Thanks for the replies
