Unable to Sky Q to network via Ethernet since unplugging

Recently had Sky Q box and mini q box set up by Sky engineers via Ethernet cables, connecting to BT Smart hubs.

Recently unplugged to decorate and since reconnecting, the box is unable to connect to my network via Ethernet. 
Attempts to reset both box and hub/router don't work - still get same error message, unable to obtain IP address

any ideas?
