hi  @Mistymoomoo

In which case if you want UHD you will need to call SKY to upgarde th ebox which currently seems to cost around £99 - although I guess there is a chance you may be able to negotiate.

To watch SKy content in UHD you will also need the UHD add on

Make sure that if you do upgrade you specify that you want an HDR capable box

BTW when sapping your box make sure you take your viewing card out of the old box to be able to place it in the new one

Do you have a UHD subscription?

What hardware version is your Q box?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

hi @Mistymoomoo

Girts thing is tp check which box you have

Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version

If it is 32Cxxx then you have an older 1TB non-UHD Box
If it is 32B0xxx then you have a (V1) UHD but non HDR 2TB Box
If it is 32B1xxx then you have a (V2) UHD HDR 2TB Box (which has a separate Power supply)
If it is 32B2xxx then you have a (V3) UHD HDR 1TB or 2TB Box

Then you have a non-UHD box.

If you want to upgrade then you'll need to call Sky - they'll charge around £50-100 to swap for a newer one.  But not worth it unless you have a UHD sub too...

Hi @Mistymoomoo

Any content you have bought from SKY Store can be download to the upgrade box
