I know that Sky mini boxes dont support UHD. I have my Sky Q box in another area of the house and now a relatively new 4K TV linked to the mini box in another room.
If I replace the mini box with another (not the existing) Sky Q box will that allow a UHD definition picture?
Thanks.

You can only have one main Sky Q box on your account. Sky will not give you another one and any purchased second hand are stolen property as they are all loaned by Sky.

Can't work: the system doesn't support two main boxes, and consequently Sky won't supply an additional main box and the standard Q LNB doesn't provide two sets of twin cable feed.
The Sky platform for UHD output in more than one location is 'Stream' (internet bandwidth permitting).

Thanks guys. Its what I thought.
I cant have Sky Stream as our internet is slow at the best of times.
I have seen secondhand Q Boxes but if two dont work together that answers the question.

Technically this are 'stolen' as they ALL belong to Sky... (Even if the owner has paid a 'non-return' charge)
