I had no internet yesterday but the tv was working. However the tv isn't working today either and says on the screen not programmed

As @oldfella indicates, that's usually a message from the television to indicate its on-board tuner hasn't been told to search for Freeview (or possibly Freesat) signal. This isn't meaningful for viewing from a Sky+ or Sky Q box, which don't use those tuners and instead input over an HDMI socket.
You may need to use the television remote control to change input to the one the Sky boxe uses.

Hi @kiplingway
Check that your TV set is switched to the HDMI input connected to your Q box.
It looks like you have the Television switched to the terrestrial tuner instead of the Q box HDMI input

Re: Tv not working yet again another evening with no tv disgusting how this keeps happening
Getting fed up of this service not working and paying ridiculous amount every month for a crap service
