Turning LG TV off using Sky remote
I have an LG smart tv with Sky Q. Ive set up the sky remote to use with the tv I have an issue with turning the tv off using the remote controller. Sometimes the TV will switch off ok using the controller but every now and then nothing happens it wint turn off. The batteries are new and good quality is there a reason why this could be. Thanks

Re: Turning LG TV off using Sky remote
With my LG it's a long press of the on/off button.
I don’t work for Sky.
If I have helped then please leave a like.

Re: Turning LG TV off using Sky remote
It uses IR (the sky box uses bluetooth) - is the line of sight to the receiver on the TV totally clear?

Re: Turning LG TV off using Sky remote
Yes it's directly inline and appx 15 away makes no difference if I get closer, odd thing being it works sometimes then all of a sudden it doesn't
