True Detective S2 missing

I have been trying to watch True Detective via Sky Q but it isn't appearing in any of the menu's - seasons 1, 3 & 4 are available but Season 2 isn't anywhere to be seen on either the Sky Q main box, mini box(es) or Sky Go on 2 different devices. I have tried rebooting the Q boxes & deleted/reinstalling Sky Go on my both my phone and iPad to no avail. Any ideas with this one please?

Quite possibly the viewing rights for that series have expired? It might be worth emailing the Viewer Relations Team and asking the question at viewerR@sky.uk

Someone forgot to change the exipry date from 31st December to 25th March by the looks of it.

@branlwood  I have noticed over time that each series of True Detective series seem to come & go on SKY, & as you have found not always sequentially.

I think S2 is likely to return but may be several months before it does

As @Daniel0210 says you can query by emailing VR but I suspect you will just get confirmation that S2 is not currently available and they may not know when due back

After 25th March the only way to watch season 1-3 will be on HBO Max, season 4 will be on Sky non exclusively until it reaches the end of it's original 4 year licensing term as per original post 2019 output deal
