Transferring sky q recordings

Thinking about upgrading to sky glass, is there a way of transferring my recordings from sky q box onto some sort of storage box.

@Pj36  unless they are buy and keep purchases then no, all recordings on the hard drive are permanently lost once the q account is closed

@Pj36  Contractually no its not possible as it only permits you to keep them for the duration of your subscription

hi @Pj36

Unfortunately not.

SKY Q  (& SKY +/HD) Recordings  reside on the HDD & there is no mechanism to transfer them to any other device.

Any purchases from SKY Store are available via other devices if needed (I am certain this will include  Glass / Stream but I don;t know the procedure)

Anything downloaded via SKY Go has a time limit - I think it is 30 days to start viewing and  then 3 days once started to watch
