If I temporarily disconnect my sky q box ( to fit a new carpet) and then reconnect it, will I lose the recordings I have stored on it ?

No, obviously anything scheduled to record will fail until it's plugged back in.

@MuggedbyRupert No but obviously you won't be able to make future recordings until you reconnect
