Technical issue with recordings on sky Q

My recordings on sky Q  keep stopping with a blue screen saying there is a technical issue with the channel please try later. Sometimes if I fast forward the recording comes back for a minute or 2 but then that's it. 

 

The usual channels are absoutely fine. I can use on demand, itv X, iplayer etc with no problems. The only issue is the recordings. 

 

I have checked and updated software. 

I have done the usual power off an switch off at at the wall. Then re start.

Nothing seems to work and it is very very frustrating.
