TV trying to connect to wrong network

Please help

i have Sky Q TV

The main box downstairs is working fine,  but the secondary box in the bedroom has randomly decided to try and connect to a no.n existant Sky wifi network, instead of our real non-Sky nextwork, and I don't know how to make it find the correct one.    Can anybody help please?

hi @Lexie+Croc

Mini boxes do not connect to your wifi when your wifi is not SKY  - instead it connects to a  SKY wifi signal generated by the main box.

I suggest you first try a full  power down restart of your main box & then your mini :

Thus the first thing is to restart your main SKY Q box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode

Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

 Wait at least 30s

Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on the mini box.

Would suggest a power restart of the mini box, by removing power for a few minutes.

Once the mini box is powered up, do a Network Reset found in  Home>Settings>Setup>Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side.
Follow the on screen instructions to connect.
