Syncing remote

My sky remote simply will not link with my TV, it always has in the past but no longer I've got a new remote, a new sky mini box and nothing is working

Have you tried via the setup in Home - Settings - Remote control?

And just by using 1 & 3

Maybe 200 times!! It sometimes works for 5 - 10 minutes then nothing. Now it won't even pair

Hi @SteveKemsley 

Have you tried rebooting your Q box before the setup?
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

The thing is....the remote works for the sky it just won't turn the tele off or volumes up and down and neither will the tv's remote so I'm thinking it's the tv 📺

Certainly if the TV remote will not operate the TV then it's not an issue with the Sky remote @SteveKemsley 

It's not a Sony TV is it?  Some of these have a Sync function where you can set the remote to operate others devices or the TV.
