Switching from discovery plus to Hbo x

[Robert_E]

I have a sky q package and access TNT sports via the discovery plus app. As it's an older smart tv (JVC) I wonder if the sky q box will update automatically to install the HBO X app in time for March 26th as I have no way to download apps on the Home Screen.

hi @Robert_E

SKY do control all the apps on SKY boxes.

I am confident the HBO MAX app will be on the SKY Q box on launch

We're all stuffed if it doesnt.

Sure it will be on the Sky Q Apps come the day.

HBO Max is already on the Sky Q boxes, ready for launch on the 26th. It's just set to hidden at the moment.
