Subscription

Hi, I want to reduce my monthly subscription, currently £197 for tv, broadband and home phone. I find the online stuff confusing so want to talk to someone. I'm happy to renew contract to reduce price, I also want to get rid of sky sports, but keep my legacy F1 channel. When I spoke to someone in a uk call centre they recognised I have the F1. But now I can only get through to India, they don't understand that it even exists. I'm a sky vip of 25 years and just need some proper help

You'll need to persevere on the phone, I'm afraid. When the bot asks you why you're calling, say 'cancel'. The cancellations team are best able to offer you a discount subject to, of course, a 2 year 'contract'

If you have F1 on legacy then any package changes will remove it.

I don't believe Sky currently offer single channel sports so you'd have to switch to Signature and complete sports.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Pete38
Remember Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Re: Subscription

It's really strange because even on the my sky app, it lists F1 as being separate to sky sports for some reason, but it does seem that when I changed to sky q the legacy F1 was lost. I have just renewed and have had to keep sky sports to keep F1 L, but at least have reduced the bill from £197 to £155.50

thank you all for your responses
